I'm having trouble with the torrents never starting. I'm getting the .torrent files no problem and I can easily access the tracker on outbound port 6969. Still, no joy. I'm starting to get the sinking feeling RoadRunner may be deliberately killing Bittorrent traffic, :(
One piece of advice
Make sure the port your bittorrent client is binding to, is being forwarded if you are behind NAT. I too use Road Runner (Well, Comcast took them over here in Houston..) and have been able to get some quite nice speeds off the torrents. Also keep in mind, season 1 is the most well-seeded season at this point, so other seasons could be quite slow.
Yeah, i've had port
Yeah, i've had port forwarding configured correctly for quite some time. I've had no luck with my usual torrent client but the latest BitTorrent client from bittorrent.com seems to be working. Go figure.
