Fallout 3: Ungodly fun.
Submitted by mrplastik on Tue, 11/04/2008 - 17:58.I'll make this short (and hopefully sweet), as I've got a sick child with which to attend. Being a fan of Bethesda for many years now, I was delighted to hear they'd be making Fallout 3. Once released like many of you I made sure it was in my hands, and prepared to be christened. (I went with the PS3 version, I'll play PC in the coming days, though I suspect little deviance between the two.)

Google takes aim at Microsoft with new Web browser (AP)
Submitted by mrplastik on Tue, 09/02/2008 - 08:59.Update: I'm in love. Google Chrome is awesome.
I don't know about you, but after reading the technical specifications, this looks to be quite promising. The only question I have is, it's almost 2009 -- why'd it take so long?
Waiting patiently for beta release... any minute now, mmh?
Comcast to limit customers' broadband usage (Reuters)
Submitted by mrplastik on Thu, 08/28/2008 - 21:58.This cinches it for me, as previously I was concerned with their shaping, but felt no issues with torrents myself.
Personally, when I purchase internet, I purchase it at port speed (N), with unlimited transfer. When this stuff happens, it's time to jump ship - as fast as possible. This is very not good. (TM)

MST3K Episodes
Submitted by mrplastik on Fri, 08/22/2008 - 16:10.So, everything but KTMA is up and being seeded. There's a forum for MST3K related stuff, including issues with downloads/etc. So, if you've got a problem, that's a good spot to start.
Enjoy fellow MSTies.
Where'd the rest of the seasons go?!@$!
Submitted by mrplastik on Wed, 08/20/2008 - 18:55.The seasons will reappear as the aggregate season torrents come online.
I've removed all links that are non-torrent based at this point in time. Use the torrents, and PLEASE SEED! (You would, if you had a soul) :> Hopefully we'll soon have plenty of seeders, and getting episodes at fast speeds will be attainable regardless.
Once the bulk of episodes are reasonably seeded, I'll open up direct access to http based links once again, mostly for "one-off" episodes.
Episodes being throttled
Submitted by mrplastik on Fri, 08/15/2008 - 18:10.Update: I have begun adding the episodes as torrents, I would suggest going that route from here on out. Bandwidth on http has been cut in half for now, as an incentive to seed the torrents. (especially on popular episodes!)
Slow Speeds
Submitted by mrplastik on Tue, 08/12/2008 - 15:58.HTTP based fetches are disabled for now, I'm seeding every episode instead.

(NewsFactor) - NewsFactor - The Internet remains vulnerable to exploits of a critical security flaw in the Domain Name System, a Russian programmer demonstrated last week. Writing on his blog on Friday, Evgeniy Polyakov posted that he had succeeded in getting patched DNS software to return an incorrect location in less than 10 hours. [Technology]
