Fallout 3: Ungodly fun.

I'll make this short (and hopefully sweet), as I've got a sick child with which to attend. Being a fan of Bethesda for many years now, I was delighted to hear they'd be making Fallout 3. Once released like many of you I made sure it was in my hands, and prepared to be christened. (I went with the PS3 version, I'll play PC in the coming days, though I suspect little deviance between the two.)

Personally I'm a sucker for anything sci-fi, in the future, and post-apocalyptic :) Thus I don't think I'm a very biased reviewer. That aside, this is one hell of a storyline, and a very immersed action/adventure/do whatever the hell you want, as most of us have come to expect with Bethesda products. This made it a much more palatable FPS, along with everything else that it is.

I was pleasantly surprised to see many modifications and additions to the previously used "Oblivion" engine. Most notably in combat, deformations to characters (i.e. heads blown off, or just plain exploding, shortly followed by some eyeballs and chunky goo.) and a pretty nifty lock-picking interface.

Some mods, and added content for this on PC will be quite welcomed. (and for me, anticipated.)
